You see this beautiful little girl. I am going to put her in a bubble. And never let her out. Because I'm so afraid of her getting hurt.
I just read a story about a daughter who told her mother the reason she didn't eat dinner was because some girls at school told her she was fat and she wanted to be skinnier. It broke my heart. Then I looked at the girl's age. She is in 3rd grade. Since when did 3rd graders know about fat?!?!?! My heart aches, because I really want Celeste to be able to grow up being a KID, not a tiny adult. I want her to run around and have messy hair, and dirty clothes, and not worry that other kids are rude and mean.
Sigh. If only it was still the simpler days of my youth.

Maybe we're not doomed, but I really must admit I was bummed out. I voted McCain because he had more views that I agreed with. Not all, but more than Obama. What really makes me write this post is the amount of disbelief and disgust that I have for Americans tonight. He's not good enough? Really? Why? Color of his skin? Shame on you all.

I may not have voted for him, I may not agree with him, I may not even LIKE him, but I refuse to turn my back on a man that is in charge of running the country that I am living in and the country that I want my child to inherit. I say rather than pouring all of your energy into complaining to the masses about how life didn't work like you wanted, why don't you pour it into shaping the country into something your children can be proud of. Just like our parents did.

So...umm...I got lost. And I totally smell like ivy. You would think that would be a good thing, remind you of the county side and little cottages and whatnot, but it's not. It's kind of gross and just keeps reminding me that the only thing I know about ivy is that some of it's poisonous. And that just makes me itchy. So I totally never made pineapple shrimp, but I did go to the air show. And forgot my camera. I have some pictures on my phone, but I just have been too lazy to get them off. It's only been 6 or 8 months. Give me a break! At least I wasn't totally unproductive! We moved to a new house, got a new puppy, and oh yeah...HAD THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BABY EVER! It's true. I have a little certificate that says she's the most beautiful ever. Not really. But I should totally make one, because it's true. I have no job, because my boss really doesn't get that pregnancy can't wait and isn't convenient, so now I'm looking. The puppy is bad. She eats everything in site. And the house is EXPENSIVE. So far we've broken a TV, a mower, and the weed eater. Nothing important. And the postman hates me because I had ivy on my stairs, so that's what I spent all morning doing. Not like he actually bothers to walk up them if I don't have incoming mail. Thanks USPS for making my bills late because you're lazy. I hope the ivy comes alive on Halloween and eats you. NOM NOM NOM! I promise to try to post again before the end of the year. Try.

I has it. Bad. But it's okay, because I get to make treats for "the monster" to eat in the middle of the night when he's hungry. So tonight, for the very first time, I made deviled eggs. And they are disgusting. To me. He loves them! Yeah! One of the few things I have ever made and not tasted to make sure it was okay. I really don't understand eggs. They are so gross...and...sulfury. Ick.

I also stopped on by one of my favorite pages by a little lady who calls herself The Pioneer Woman and saw that she has posted not only an awesome contest, but an amazing recipe for pineapple shrimp. I hate shrimp too. But, the one factor that decides what gets made in this house, is if CJ likes it. And he loves it. LOVES SHRIMP. So sometimes I spoil him and let him buy some. But this looks good. If you like shrimp that is. We'll see what he thinks, and how it works out.

I'm excited for may, especially this first full week. Not only do I get to start my new job, I get to sit down ALL DAY at my new job! The air show is this weekend, and life is good. My wonderful man bought me a beautiful necklace today, and I really can't say that I've gotten a better present lately. Other than Celeste! She's growing and practicing her karate moves every day, and especially every night! Over half way there, and now it's starting to sink in. WE ARE NOT READY! Lastly, I made a meez.

Well, it's Tuesday, I think I have food poisoning, and my beauty streak has been broken. Not to mention the air bed I've been sleeping on has many little holes (thanks to my cat), so I wake up about every 2 hours, because I'm slowing being crushed, so that makes me tired and grumpy too. With all of that said, my life is going amazingly great. I just keep making these little steps to take back MY life. I realized that I had slowly become very unhappy, and I had also given up on my dreams, thoughts, and basically myself. Well this weekend I went and bought a coffee table, and I felt empowered, even if it was only a coffee table. I also fixed some stuff around my house, which made me smile, because I actually had enough time to sit down and enjoy all my finished projects. Another thing I came across was this article called, 100 blog topics so I might try to go ahead over the next few days and blog about some of those topics. I'm not out of things to say, trust me on that, but a lot of those seem like very interesting topics, which I'm sure I could spout a few words about. Make sure you keep up with all of those amusing podcast (and video cast (I hate the word vlog)) such as Dawn and Drew and Two Boobs and a Baby + , who (finally!) has a new podcast up. Waiting for Rock and Roll Geek Show's update for Rock of Love, which I've never actually watched on TV, but I love to listen to Michael Butler's comments about just how crazy reality television can be. Well, I guess that's all for now, except I'm going to remember a thousand more things after I click submit, but those thoughts will have to wait until I get caught up on my dishes.

Well, since my first blog, we've learned that I'm a slacker. I've also learned that I was unhappy. That's a great thing to find out, because you get to use that courage you worked so hard for, leave your miserable boyfriend, get a new, improved, hotter, more responsible, and all around better (See!) man named CJ, who appreciates you, and reminds you how much he really does love you each and every day. You also fall in love with yourself all over again. I'm now a blonde, and I'm madly in love with my new color! I reconnected with my old friends, because I don't have to spend my time being someone's slave. I also decided to take school more seriously, even though I've never wanted babies more. Give me 5 years, and maybe I'll have someone talked into it by then. I miss my old job, and want to go back, but I've got goals and I can finally save money for them, so I'm staying where I'm at, because it allows me to have time to think and to dream. It also gives me time for the most entertaining thing I've ever heard "The Dawn and Drew Show". If I could only express how much I've come to know and love them, even though I've never met them! Everything in my life is "Dawn said this..." or "Drew mentioned that!" They're quite amusing, and if you've never heard them, check them out. Also, I've been using Twitter like mad, hoping that someone see's my tweet's and thinks I'm interesting. CJ's got me turned onto "Coast to Coast" too, which offers all kinds of interesting topics, and usually has some pretty amusing call in's. I'm hoping to start taking more pictures in the future, as well as exercise more, and maybe plan some more stuff out. We'll see how it goes, and hopefully I can keep all of this updating up!

First Post!

And I shall christen you "my blog". Not original, but hey, it'll come. I guess I'll take this first entry to tell who I am, what I do, and why I decided to start blogging again. Lady Luck started, because I finally got a "big people job" away from kids, and since I don't have toys to play with all day, I've been bored and discovered podcast and blogs. I see that people actually have lives similar and much more interesting than mine. I also have this great opportunity in my life, because everything is starting to change and shape into something that resembles an exciting, if not frightening, future. I've just started a new job in my field of study, and I love it, even though it seems a little TOO grown up at times. I miss working at the daycare, and playing with kids all day, and just seeing how much a child can learn and grow even from the simple task we take for granted. Life is starting to look up. Moving might be in the future, but who can tell at this crazy point and time. As for blogging and podcast, I recently discovered "Two Boobs and a Baby" which has been keeping me in good spirits at work. It's nice to hear that someone who has traveled and lived in more parts of the world than I've ever seen is just as intimidated to change a diaper. Not to mention all of the joy and wonder they get to experience being parents of two very lovely (sounding at least) children. I'm 1/2 envious, 1/2 joyful, and 1/2 not good with fractions as Steve would say. Well lets go see how this turns out. It might be a regular thing, or it could be something I do on my lunch breaks when browsing through Hollywood's gossip isn't fulfilling. Ciao.
